ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The COVID guidelines established at both the federal and state level for managing the COVID-19 outbreak encourage businesses to consider ways to shift their practices to promote social distancing.

What YOU can do to reduce the spread of germs:

    • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
    • If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer.
    • Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
    • Discourage food and beverage sharing.
    • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
    • Stay home when you are sick.
    • Cover cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WE ARE TAKING

  • Office seating in the waiting room and in therapy/testing rooms has been arranged for appropriate physical distancing, even though we intend not to use the waiting room, if possible.
  • Our staff wear masks.
  • Our staff maintains safe distancing.
  • Restroom soap dispensers are maintained, and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.
  • Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the therapy/testing rooms, the waiting room and at the reception counter.
  • We schedule appointments at specific intervals to minimize the number of parking spaces adjacent to one another, and the number of people in the waiting room and outside an individual room being used.
  • We ask all clients to wait in their cars or outside until their therapist comes to the front door to the parking lot.
  • Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.
  • Physical contact is not permitted.
  • Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.
  • Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day. Each therapist will disinfect his or her office or the office used before leaving it.  Each therapist uses a wipe each time he or she uses credit card machine or copier or any other machine.  Those doing assessments wipe down table and items touched.
