Ashley Kranz
Licensed Clinical Social WorkerA little about me
I find great joy and inspiration working with children, adolescents and young adults and families. I am convinced that this incredible opportunity to serve others chose me rather than the other way around, arising from life and professional experience and a natural passion to listen with care.
Over the last fifteen years, I have worked in both public and private school settings as a school social worker. I hope to provide you with support, promote self-advocacy, and assist you in reaching your goals within a space that is safe and welcoming. I offer guidance through life transitions and circumstances while helping you discover your own resilience in the midst.
The beauty of a flower is found in its resilience
I often work alongside those who are navigating anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, trauma, grief, or complex interpersonal relationships. I am also passionate about working with autistic clients and those with other developmental disabilities or autoimmune disorders.
As part of your therapy, I may rely on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness practices, or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I sometimes introduce social skills training, behavior modification, and sensory based practices into therapy when appropriate. And if you desire, I welcome the opportunity to bring your faith into our work together.
Those who know me describe me as positive, approachable and outgoing. I am committed to professional development as a means of providing you with the most up to date, effective treatment and care. I also have a strong interest in facilitating groups and providing education to families to encourage a sense of community, inclusion and connectedness.
